Dr Karen Comer has provided care for dogs and cats with cancer, diabetes, kidney failure, Cushing's disease and other medical conditions for twenty years. She brings this expertise to her new clinic to provide high level wellness care in a family veterinary practice. The veterinary medical team at her clinic is committed to providing comfort and compassionate care for all patients and their families.

Dr. Karen Comer earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the University of California at Davis. Prior to entering veterinary school, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry. After graduation from veterinary school she continued her formal post-graduate studies with a clinical internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and a clinical residency in small animal internal medicine at the University of Georgia. Concomitant with the internal medicine residency, she also completed a Master of Science degree in physiology.

Dr Comer is a member of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, and is board certified in Small Animal Internal Medicine.
