Dr. Hatcher grew up in Virginia, New York, Massachusetts, Illinois, Ohio, and eventually settled in Indiana. She studied pre-veterinary medicine at Purdue University for two years, then graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Purdue School of Veterinary Medicine four years later. She performed a six week externship at a canine specialty practice in Wagga Wagga, Australia. After graduating, she worked at a small animal practice at Yuma, Arizona and another in Northwest, Indiana. Then she worked at a greenwood animal clinic for 13 years before starting Olive Branch Parke Veterinary Clinic in 2011. She has a son, Nathaniel and two daughters, Willow and Scarlett (deceased). Her husband, Paul is a Software Engineer. Dr. Hatcher is, of course, obsessed with animals. Dr. Hatcher and her husband own the Olive Branch Parke Cattery. They breed purebred Traditional Siamese cats. Dr. Hatcher is a member of the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians, Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians, Association of Avian Veterinarians, American Veterinary Medical Association and the Greater Greenwood Chamber of Commerce.
